The Quilting Consumer
The Quilting Consumer is intended as a source of product evaluations to assist quilters in making sound investments. Whether the item is as small as a thimble or as big as a quilting frame, informed advice before you buy can save money and prevent disappointment. Planet Patchwork is pleased to have Addy Harkavy (addy@TheExperimentalQuilter.com) of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, one of the net's foremost commentators on quilting products, as editor and primary contributor to this page. Having formerly worked for one of Ralph Nader's Public Interest Research Groups, and experiencing daily exposure to all manner of quilting products, from markers to rotary mats, Addy will "call them as she sees them" for Planet Patchwork readers. Addy is formerly co-owner of Pinetree Quiltworks mail order and quilt shop in S. Portland, Maine. The Quilting Consumer is divided into two departments: Product ReviewsandTips and TricksCome on in and check it out!
