We first encountered this product at Quilt Market of 2009, where its inventor was providing demonstrations in his booth to all the quilt store owners, buyers, quilters and curious journalists who would stop to watch. A quilter may have all the patience she needs to make her points match perfectly, to place that fussy appliqué in just the right place, to accomplish 10 quilting stitches to the inch, but when it comes to hanging a quilt she may want to pull her hair out. The Magnet-Ficent Invisible Quilt Hanger solves several problems at once: it attaches to your wall without nails or screws, it is easily adjustable, and leveling the hanging is a snap. The kit (at right) includes a rod that will accommodate a quilt up to 20", but the magnets which hold the rod are very powerful and can handle a larger rod and larger quilt. Depending on the quilt size, you may need two mounting plates to provide adequate support.

The company also makes an accompanying quilt hanging sleeve that is preformed and can be ironed onto the back of the quilt.
